In short: All image processing in BlurBefore happens locally
on your device. We never upload, collect, or store your photos or personal
information.
Welcome to BlurBefore (the "App"). This policy explains how the App handles
data related to you. Privacy is our core design principle: the App is built
to collect nothing by default.
1. We Collect No Data
Your photos never leave your device: Sensitive-info
detection (text / faces / QR codes) and redaction (blur / pixelate /
cover) are performed entirely offline on your device. Photos are
never sent to any server.
No account system: The App requires no sign-up or login,
so we never collect your name, email, phone number, or any other
identity information.
No tracking, no ads, no analytics: We use no third-party
analytics or advertising SDKs, do not track your activity across other
apps or websites, and do not create identifiers to follow you.
No other network transmission: Apart from in-app
purchase requests (see Section 3), the App sends no data to any
server.
2. Permissions & On-Device Data
Photo library access: Used only to read the image you
actively choose to share with the App, and to save the redacted result
back to your photo library. We never browse or access your other
photos.
Share Extension: When you invoke the App from the
system share sheet, it receives only the single image you selected at
that moment.
Metadata stripping: Redacted output automatically has
location (GPS) and other sensitive EXIF metadata removed.
Local history: Your processing history is stored only
in a local database on your own device. It is never synced or backed up
to any server of ours, and is fully deleted when you uninstall the
App.
3. In-App Purchases
The App offers optional paid unlocks (e.g. watermark removal, advanced
features, lifetime unlock). All purchases are processed entirely by the
Apple App Store. We take no part in the transaction and
never receive your payment details, card numbers, or Apple
account information. Loading product lists and verifying purchases involves
communication with Apple's servers, governed by
Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from children. Because the App collects no data
at all, no personal information of children is processed while using it.
5. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and
revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after
changes means you accept the updated policy.
